1958 Volkswagen beetle. This car is 90% original, it has never been hit anywhere. This would be perfect for a resto or drive as is. The car was black with reddish interior when it was new a hard to find color combo! nice "H" apron as you can see in the pictures. I wet sanded and buffed the car to give it some attitude and tried to get to the OG paint but I don't have the time still looks cool the way it is. When I got the car I thought the pans were rusty turned out the car had been undercoated as you can see in the picture the pans are gloss black just like new after peeling the under coating off! Car runs and drives, someone changed the long block to a 40HP instead of the 36. Has the manual choke in working order I have rebuilt the carb, fresh tune up, plugs, adjusted the valves, valve cover gaskets, ect.... new brake lines, stops just fine, all fresh fuel lines hard lines blown out and tank was removed and cleaned out and painted, the reserve switch is on the car and works. It was 30 degrees the other day went outside to take the pics pulled the manual choke out and it fired right up! It has a new battery, new turn signal rubber and peanuts in the front and new seals in the rear. Tires are in good shape stock size rims are straight. everything works on this car I cleaned all the contacts on it fuse block ect. turn signals, brake lights even the horn work it will pass inspection or run it as an antique, I have a clear title for the car. SEAT COVERS My wife and I recently purchased a sizeable inventory of new VW seat covers that are made to fit type 1 Beetles and some Karmann Ghia coupes. These are all premium quality heavy vinyl made in U.S.A. sets, stored in a smoke free facility. They are not the slip-on/snap-on cheapies you sometimes see, these are fitted to the seat frames with squeeze rings just like TMI and Sew Fine. They are mostly basket weave pattern with sewn in padding in a variety of colors that will fit 1958 thru 1979 sedans and some convertibles. They are new in the box full front and back sets and partial front only sets for those who have tired front seats only. Full sets while they last are $49.00, if you would like them installed in our new shop add $180.00 for a full set.
